Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice
What cookies, local storage and similar technologies Inferaq uses, why they are used, and how visitors can control their choices.

This website uses a small amount of browser storage for essential preferences, including the light/dark theme. The current static build does not activate advertising cookies or non-essential analytics. If that changes, Inferaq will update this notice and obtain consent before non-essential technologies are set.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. They can make a service work, remember choices, measure use or support advertising. UK rules apply to storing information on, or accessing information from, a user’s device even where the information is not personal data.

IQ does not use local storage to preserve a conversation between visits in this build. The visible conversation exists for the current page session and can be cleared using the control inside IQ.
3. Non-essential analytics, embedded media and scheduling
Inferaq will not load non-essential analytics, advertising, embedded-video tracking or third-party scheduling technologies before the required choice has been obtained. If such services are introduced, the website will provide a consent control that:
- explains each purpose and supplier;
- keeps optional technologies off unless and until consent is given;
- offers equally prominent accept and reject choices;
- allows granular choices where appropriate; and
- makes withdrawal as easy as giving consent.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where they are essential to transmit a communication or provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Inferaq seeks consent for non-essential access or storage under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Where the resulting information is personal data, the UK GDPR lawful basis will also be identified in the Privacy Notice.
5. Managing your choices
You can change the theme at any time using the moon/sun switch. Browser settings also allow you to view, delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may mean that your chosen theme is not remembered. A future “Cookie settings” control will appear here if optional technologies are enabled.
6. Changes and contact
The definitive list must match the technologies actually deployed. Inferaq will review it whenever hosting, analytics, IQ, embedded content or marketing tools change. Questions may be sent to info@inferaq.com.
